Alone at Home is written by Marian Weston who has had a lot of experience keeping the home fires burning while back in the UK during her husband's numerous short term assignments. And of course, these assignments began post-expat life when Marian also had to cope with her own repatriation challenges!

More and more companies are opting for the short term assignment to avoid relocating the spouse and family.
